Italy will no doubt win the Euro 2008 and their game against France on the 6th. My guess is the score will be 2-0 or even 3-0 for the Italians. Oh and to all the French fans I have to say one thing. The first penalty kick that France got in the 7th minute was just stupid, if you look at the replay you will see that the Italian players didn't even touch the guy and he went down. So the game could have been 1-0 for Italy. Then in the 2nd half Italy scored another goal but to later be called offside (which is debatable). So seriously all of you French fans should be happy that the game even went to penalties and you didn't deserved it either. Italy won from Germany, did you see them complaining this much? We lost the Euro 2000 in the last ten seconds did we keep saying that France was lucky (which of course they were.) So Italy will always be the best team no matter what happens and to all the Italian fans out there I say Forza Azzurri, Forza Italia.

Zidane nearly scored a second time, in the second half. A strong header that was just BARELY blocked by Buffon.
Had Zidane remained, France would have had a stronger line-up for the penalty shoot-out.

I'm a French supporter but i think in that final, neither France or Italy were that good. I've seen better World Cup finals. Italy won on penalties, good to them. After all, if i remember well, they lost one final on penalties as well so this time was their turn. Would have been a shame to lose twice on penalties. Although people can say what they want about France and Italy, i think they're both great teams and some of the best in the world at the moment!

(1) the foul was real, materrazi put himself a very bad position and intentionally so ....only the blind, the fanatic, the blindly fanatic, and the fanatically blind could have missed that.
(2) the 2nd half goal was ruled an offside...and it was good call so you can either face the facts or complain to fifa...
(3) the game went into penalty bec. that was the game plan....with zidane masterfully taken out, it worked. hope you're happy having won that way...
(4) german fans not grumbling about the loss to italy...you should have met lady_starlight, lol....
(5) losing the euro to france and not calling them lucky....review your question pls...i thought there was a clashing thought somewhere in there....
(6) italy being the better team....repeat that to yourself 1,000,000 times, who knows you might actually believe it...

Hey, quit blaming the french fans out there - if your team lost you'd be complaining too, even if there's nothing to complain about. It's just the nature of the penalty shootout - it depends too much on luck.

I watched the game plenty of times to know that Italy was dragging their feet like ais also known as three-toed sloths.
Lithuania is the mirror of the reality they should finally look at, it is who they truly are as a team.
