you have to decide between a bottle of water that tastes like an alcoholic drink (beer, wine etc) with no effects and a bottle of alcohol that tastes like water but has the same effects as alcohol has... which one would u choose?

I wouldnt choose either I dont drink, I dont like the taste of drinking so I would not choose either. If the world was in so much trouble where water came down to having to be beer flavored and thats it, then you have more to worry about then the above two choices. Truth of the matter is only someone who drinks alcohol would answer this question the way you want it to be answered which is obvious to me but maybe not to other people. Let me just say that it is impossible for this problem to ever even touch society based on just the earths water amount alone, salt water boiled makes clean water, but thats neither here nor there, I hope you get the answer you want.

Definitely, I'll choose the bottle of alcohol that tastes like water. It's a question of what gives one pleasure. Something appealling to the palate and in taste. That's why most people drink. But of course, it's different with alcoholics, who drink because of the addiction.

Lets be honest it depends what stage of life you are at. In my early student days I drank to get drunk so I would have the alcohol which tastes like water. Now when I drink its because I enjoy the taste so it would be the water which tastes like the alcoholic drinks I like.

That would depend. I might like just a couple as i like the taste so opt for the water. But sometimes i feel like just getting totally rat a*sed so the alcohol would be a must.
