I don't want to pay $1.99 per ringtone, so I was wondering if I could record a song and set it as my ringtone?

and if not, is there anywhere I can find a HiFi ringtone of Bat Country by Avenged Sevenfold?

Nope, they do that on purpose so they make you pay the 1.99. Voice records cant be used for ringtones.

definite you could. you could set it as a ringtone highlighting the voice recording you like then press the suited suitable corner button..which could say concepts..and you're able to have the concepts to set as a ringtone set as a ringer identity or rename.. i'm hoping this helped..

i don't know about t-mobile, my razr is a V3C from Verizon, and i have done this for all my friends, so they tell me when they are calling. The only down side is, they are awfully quiet.
i just realized the menu on mine is for verizon, so anything I tell you probably won't work for yours.
sorry.
