wich 1 do u tink is hrdr? hockey r soccer? personaly i would hav to go wit hockey.i hav alot of reasons, but heres a fact. as da results of a study, it is a fact dat hockey playrs stay in betr shape den dose of ne other sport as dey grow older. & its not like if u were playing a soccer game u would get pounded by a 200 lb playr on ice skates.& here, lets say were not playn professionaly,& not once has da prson in my exampl played hockey OR soccr. dont u tink it would be much easier fr him to run around and kick a ball the to ice skate & handle a puck?!?! c'mon even u soccer fans cant say no to dat 1. my friend who plays soccer says o soccer is soo hard u have to run around all the time..yea thats why i see players standing there being wimps. and if they get hurt theyre so dramatic..der r hockey playrs who get der teeth knocked out or get there face busted against the boards blood everywer..& guess what..THEY FINISH DA GAME!i hate wen soccr plyrs say its hrdr den hockey, ITS NOT!!!!!!!!!

hockey players are in 10 times more shape then a soccer player even all other sports hockey players are in better shape.
ethiopia>>>>> get a life you not nothing about the sport, football (soccer) you do stand around allot compare to hockey players. hockey players go on for one shift for about 40 seconds and then come of hockey is a fast hard hitting sport. soccer they give up on plays they get lazy that's why when an other player touches him he falls and starts crying like a little baby. ethiopia get on skates and try to keep up just to a pee-wee AAA team that is age around 14 years old and then tell us what you think about hockey. I've played hockey my hole life in AAA and i played traveling league for soccer also, and believe me its 10 times harder playing hockey then soccer.
ethiopia>>>> soccer is the most played sport in the world cause anybody can afford it, hockey yes it is really expensive but try and get a frozen puck on the chin going at 100mph and then go get stiched up and come back to play. get hit in the boards whill someone is skating at you 10 times faster then you can run. and trust me, soccer players do stand around 40% of the game when the ball is in one end the defence is just standing their if the ball is on one side of the pitch the other mid-fielder is just standing their. so dont talk about hockey you dumb fool, and get a life. and before you say anything again about any other sport well think before you speak or write ok.
to anyone saying soccer well try and play both and i don't mean outside with your friends i mean traveling league and to those who dont know what traveling league is well its like the best players in your city. then you can compare the two, i have played both in great leagues as traveling leagues and trust me the tranning i put in to hockey makes me sick thinking about what you guys are saying which clearly you have never done.

Hockey is much harder. In soccer, you stand there unless the ball is close to you and play the whole game. In hockey, you skate like nuts for 40 seconds then come off.

I'm a hockey player and I will play around vigorously with friends at soccer and personally I think hockey is a lot harder there is more strategy and more technical movements in it and it works more muscles like arms for shots legs for skating and it also works you brain in a complicated way

hockey is harder to learn because you have to learn to skate and to use the stick to handle the puck. Soccer you already know how to run and you don't have a tool between you and the ball so it is definitely easier to learn initially. But that is all the more amazing how some people are so much better at soccer than others.

Hockey is a mix between football and soccer, so i would figure that hockey is harder since it has two sports mixed.

I don't think it's any question that hockey is much harder. Soccer has it's difficulties and you could argue there are few sports that boast better cardio vascular conditioned athletes than soccer. However there is more to conditioning than just cardio ability. A professional hockey athlete is better conditioned overall. They are still in excellent condition cardio wise but in general they are tougher, stronger and more agile. If you removed talent from the equation, the average professional hockey player could step right into soccer but not the other way around.
I'm not going to touch on mentality of each sport but I will say that soccer (futbol) really needs to work on their sense of sportsmanship. The rampant diving in the sport is nothing short of disgusting and it's why in general soccer players are viewed as wimpy and whiny by most of North America.
A friendly side note to the person who asked this question. When trying to support a side of an argument you may want to be a little more articulate if you want anyone to take you seriously. While I'm sure it's not the case, you're coming off as an extremely uneducated person.

American Football is the best sport ever played because its 60 minutes of action of possibly: interceptions, fumbles, hail marys, unexpected upsets, and etc... all packed into the reasons why Americans enjoy watching football and rooting for their favorite team and watching the Superbowl in what has become a huge market for television and etc...
