yeah, i think so. i feel like he's aiming to have the status of 50 cent/g unit and so that's why he dissed them, but in the rap world, he's seen as a "p***y" rapper because his career included many girly duets

No, but I'm not sure. I never followed him much. I don't hear much from him or Ashanti, though, so maybe so. Artists these days don't usually last that long.
