I feel sorry for his family but not for him. If you keep playing with fire eventually you will get burned.

I always used to watch him when I was a little kid. My dad used to make me write ten facts about each animal that he talked about. (Our science books in school were too easy for me. Plus, he felt that I needed something to keep my mind focused during summer.) Sooooo, when I found out that he was stabbed through the heart by an animal that rarely kills humans, I was a little bit sad..... you'd think he would have died a less gruesome death since he spent so many years helping animals..... God sometimes works in stupid and strange ways.

I feel sorry for his family can't imagine what they feel right now. Steve was quoted as saying he wanted to go on camera and would be saddened if this didnt happen. He died doing what he loved and doing what he did best. He went the way he wanted to.

Never saw the show but it's sad if anyone dies. By a stingray. He has to be the most unlucky person on the face of the earth.

I do.He was a great adventurer and teacher, he had such enthusiasim for his work, he was charming. I don't feel sorry for him because he's dead, I feel sorry for his children and wife and family, who are no doubt feeling a lot of pain.Steve however, is feeling no pain right now, hopefully there is someplace beyound death that he will go to,and be himself again, orrrrrr,,maybe he'll come back as a crock!

sorry when someone dies. He will
be missed by his family and many
fans. He did so something with his
life, didn't he.

i'm sorry that he's dead. the animal world lost a great friend, and we lost a good man. but he really wasn't a huge part of my life, so it's not a huge deal for me
