ok, how long after conception will your stomach start getting hard? i just found out im preg. im a big girl and people say that in big girls you dont tell for awhile. plz help.

well I'm not huge or anything but with this pregnancy I started out heavier then my last pregnancy. I didnt even show with my first baby till I was 6 months along. I am 5 months with this one and have been showing for a couple months. As far as it being hard...well, usually it gets hard when the baby is big enough to make it feel hard. I can feel my uterus when I push on my stomach but it's not super hard..not hard like I think you may be talking about. Sometimes my muscles contract and I can really feel my uterus but it's not that hard all the time. Hope this helps at all.

Usually by the fourth month, you start showing, but if you are a big girl it may be a month later. Then again people might just think you added some more pounds without looking pregnant. Why worry about it? Don't you want anyone to know you are pregnant? Are you single? Is this a wanted pregnancy? If you truly want to have a baby, who cares about the rest?

That really depends, you may go twenty five to thirty weeks before your belly gets hard, if like you say, and a big girl, you may go up to delivery time and when the baby starts dropping you will have the hardening sensation. Good luck and hope you have a healthy baby.

I noticed that my stomach was hard after only 5 weeks. I even had a bump. I am a big girl too. Everyone is different so I wouldn't worry about it.

You can't really tell on a big girl....I'm not the smallest of girls either though...when I got pregnant I was about 170 lbs...I am only like 5 ft...but I showed at 3 months and I am all baby now. I am larger then my sister was and she is queit bigger than I am...it may depend on the girl!

It depends on how big the baby is and how the baby is setting inside of you, with my first son I never really showed, and my second son I was as big as a house. I am thick but not necessarily fat, it really matters where the baby is setting.

normal time is about 5 months (4-5)in most women so depends on how big u r in the belly

Start getting hard? My wife's started getting firm after a few months, but she's really skinny.
