A cyst is a bag filled with fluid, if left inside the breast it may turn into cancer. Futhermore, the cyst can grow and be painful. Breast cancer should viewed as linked to hormone intake (artificial) and also to the diet. Avoid red meat, eat chicken and fish and plenty of bright vegetables (tomatoes, red peppers, mustard greens, green peas, green beans, etc). Best wishes!

It is not uncommon to have cysts removed from anywhere in the body, particularly if they are large, as this can cause pain and discomfort. Also, they have found it and are now going to treat it. I had a lump removed when I was 24, I was also worried sick as breast cancer also runs in my family. They removed the lump did a biopsy and it turned out to be a fibroadenoma. Basically a benign lump. Most lumps and bumps are non cancerous, and the chances of it being cancerous is slim. You need to stop worrying, although I know that is easier said than done. Try and concentrate on your daughters fears and anxieties. I wish you both all the best and I am sure she will be fine.

I know your worried but that's the last thing she needs to see right now. She going through her own fears she needs to deal with this in her mind and the last thing she needs is to see you and every one else with puppy eye's. Be there when she needs you and give her space when she wants it. She will be fine.
