I define it as a country where people are free and can be liberals if they so feel inclined.

Why do Conservatives want to bankrupt the country? Conservatives used to be fiscally responsible. Now after 5 years of Bush Economics, we've doubled our national debt to over 8 Trillion dollars ! Why is this important? Because the INTEREST is paid out of the Nation's Annual Budget every year; the billions in interest could have gone to National Defense, Health Care, Education, ensuring that Social Security is solvent, ect. But, the mantra of it's your money and make my tax cuts permanent only benefit the top 1%; what about the rest of us 99%? If you think that Bush really cares about average americans, I got a bridge in New York City I can sell you. Don't get me wrong, I support the removal of Saddam Hussein; I'm against Bush based on his domestic policy program of enriching the wealthiest americans to the detriment of the rest of us.

When you say destroy the american way of life do you mean wanting to address and change the 194 milion registered guns, 49 million mental illnesses, 86% of the world serial killers, the KKK, the numerous amounts of african american woman beatings, the 80,000 registered sex offenders in Cali, the 720,000 attempted suicides per year and paris hilton.........bloody liberals never want to have any fun do they!

Liberals and conservatives argueing is the american way of life.

America is based on freedom, and freedom includes being liberal. So to say that they are destroying the way of life means that they are taking away your freedoms.
