You deal with a bunch of insurance mess. Eventually, the car will usually show up somewhere the thieves have abandoned or tried to sell it.

I guess just hope you get your car back in one piece. If you have full coverage insurance I would think they would cover it. If you only had liability then you won't have a car unless it is found. This happened to my husband. He had a vehicle stolen in Tennessee. Reported it to the police, but never got his vehicle back. Police said it probably was in a chop shop. He only had liability since it was paid for. Sucked so bad since he had 2,000 dollars worth of tools in the back.

call your insurance company. Depending on your insurance they may pay you a settlement for the amount of the car. If your insurance didn't cover the vehicle being stolen, then you bite the bullet and buy a new car.

Contact your insurance company. They should provide information for replacement. Remember that if you owe the bank, you will still owe them and have to pay for it with the insurance money, and then try to buy a new car. That does not sound like fun.

Insurance company never pays blue book value for a car. They will give you (actual cash value) what they can replace the car for on the market.

You might get a check from your insurance coverage, though often there is a period you have to wait in order to get your claim. If you don't have theft coverage, then you're out of luck. Read your insurance policy carefully.
