I was told that my dormitory has molds in our air vents. Lately I have been feeling sick, I have really bad headaches, dizzyness, and i have a hard time breathing. Is it possible that im having these symptoms because of the mold in the air vent? Should I go to health services on campus to see i am sick because of the mold?

You definately should go to health services to have them check you out. Living with mold for awhile can be dangerous to your health. You should also alert the maintainence because they need to get rid of the mold right away. They should not let you be living in these dorms while the mold is still there.

You should complain to the housing authority at your school. You;re probably experiencing a mild allergy to the mold. Unless you can get in the vents and kill the mold with bleach or something, there's nothing you can do. It's really something quite serious that the school should take care of, assuming it's true.

Yes. Allergies are nothing to fool around with. If you health care provides it get tested for allergies. Until the housing and health services do something for you, you can get filters to put over your vents.

yeah. what are you waiting for? you should also call maintenance to get that mold problem dealt with. if you press hard enough, they'll do it. i think the school would rather have to pay to remove the mold than to have to pay for removal AND lawsuits.
