I was at work when a co-worker told me a plane had hit the WTC. I couldn't believe it, then saw the news about another plane. I worked near the Pentagon and a couple of my co-workers claim they heard that plane fly overhead and then impact. Unfortunately, I did not hear those things. I did go up on the roof and saw the plume of smoke from the Pentagon, angling through a crystal blue sky. I was sick about it and believe to this day that it was done as a publicity stunt by Osama bin Laden. We had done nothing to deserve such murder of innocent people but bin Laden has reaped publicity a press agent can only dream about.

I'd just got back from Tesco (Cambridge in England) and my friends husband said 2 planes had crashed into the WTC, I stupidly asked how 2 plans could crash into the same building and he said, they did it on purpose. I sat there the rest of the day watching the news in horror as the first building collapsed my heart sank for all the people I knew would still be in the building, the rescue workers who were doing there best, then the second building collapsed I couldn't believe it at first, then the same thoughts went through my head, all those innocent people just going about there day to day jobs and now the huge amount of loss of life. I've never felt the things I felt on that day and I hope I never have to again. My heart goes out to everyone who lost someone that day and everyone who was affected by what happened.

Hard to remember. I have a comment, though.

You notice the front page today. The Congress (Republican controlled) is putting IMMIGRATION on the back burner to focus on SECURITY. This is just like the "Party that God voted for." They get people fired up with things that float the boat of the majority. Then they have an excuse.

911 gave these politicians the biggest free ride they ever had in their lives. It's an excuse to yank the chicken all term and do nothing for us. I almost wonder if 911 wasn't STAGED for just that reason.
