That would depend upon how much you value your old best friend's friendship. For if you do not value it, then what does it matter what you do? However the bigger question would be... why would you want to date the type of guy you wouldn't want?
I mean, think about it. Would you want someone you love to cheat on you with someone else? Why then would you want to date this guy; for if he cheats on her to be with you, doesn't that already prove what type of guy he is? Don't be flattered to think it's only because you are so much better than she is, and so he would never do it to you.
