lol true if you want to count the points each item has. 3 corners to the trianger, 5 points to the glove, 12 points on the clock, and 2 wheels on a bicycle.

You could argue this with your teacher if you wanted to though. A pair of gloves could be 2. A clock has one full cycle of 24 hours, which is of course divided into day and night, also 2.

What grade are you in? I'm not sure what concept your teacher is trying to get across to you but this seems very juvenile and..silly.

Fingers are part of a glove and wheels are part of a bicycle, BUT are sides really "parts" of a triangle and are the hourly divisions of a clock really "parts" of the clock?

The easy answer is yes, but debatable.
