Of course you can move back there with her. However, as with similar situations (replace "Vietnam" with any other location), here are things you should consider:

1. Does your girlfriend want you to move back there with her? I am a Vietnamese-American, visiting the country a few times in the last decade. And I know that many girls there (note: I am not saying "all") would die to move to the US. Living in the US would give folks a lot more opportunities and flexibility in their future, including the possibility of moving back to Vietnam, so it is always an attractive thing for folks elsewhere. So on this, you should check with your girlfriend. What if your moving back there jeopardizes your plan of moving the family back to the US, would that affect her or your decision?

2. What is it like to live in Vietnam? Vietnam is a good location for western folks to visit, tour, or even work for charity. It is a charming, intriguing, and wonderful destination. That said, it is a huge and life-changing decision for a westerner (I'm assuming that you are a westerner) to move and live there. Different culture, different weather, different people, different language, you have to take all that into account. I have a Japanese friend who marries a Vietnamese guy. She moves there two years ago to live with him, and it has been an interesting story, to say the least. She has to go through a lot of adjustments.

3. Where do you want your family/kids to live in the future? What about your job? All the misc things that one should consider before moving elsewhere, let's alone move from one world to another world (literrally :-).)

So all the legal issues aside, which I think are all solveable, you should at least visit the country and live there at least through four seasons. Then you can make a call for yourself whether you will want to move there to marry your girlfriend and live there with her :-).

Best wish!

that is definitely an rather cool u . s .! you comprehend it because you've been there your self so do no longer allow the naysayers impact you otherwise. as well you've were given your own grandparents there too so that is unlike you're going to pass to a uncommon position for the first time no longer understanding each person there. i ought to characterize a international college truly than a public college on account that a international college ought to have English because the important language of education and ought to latest a lot less of a challenge of adjustment for you. you'll nevertheless have frequently Vietnamese (interior sight) classmates yet as well those from different countries like your self that you're able to percentage reports as a overseas student in Vietnam. good success! pass for it! For a semester, the teachings at a international college ought to run about US $ 5,000. residing prices ought to upload yet another $ 5,000. So, you'll choose about US$ 10,000 entire.

Just remind them you weren't there when the army was there and you don't know anybody in the army. You'll be fine! Tell me if you find any F.U. lizards. Honestly. They exist.
