Champagne or taupe~ light natural earth tones. Too dark will contrast with the richness of the furniture.

My office has oak furniture with a deep "red oak" stain. the walls are a dusty green color that leans a bit to the blueish and the trim is a deep burgundy color.

remember your going to spend a lot of time in this space and will want it to be un-stressful. light green is a calming colour and will feel light and fresh. it will also compliment your dark furniture. dark colours on the walls may make it harder to work. see what colours you like or search net for "mood colours". good luck

I would go with the tan and earth tones defiantly. I think it would appear more professional, but if it doesn't matter I would go with something fun like the burnt orange or a moss green.

Deep red, orangish yellow or redish orange. Mine is deep red (with black tones in the paint) and I love it.

bypass with a mild gray on 3 partitions. on the wall at the back of your table, use gray, to boot, yet basically a color or 2 darker. show "in colour" photos on the paler gray history. B & W prints on the darker wall at the back of you.
