I have a Lucky Bamboo plant, I've heard that you can take cuttings from the stalks. If you cut from the stalk itself and place it in water, will it grow roots and grow taller? And about the leaves that grow off the stalks, can you cut those? Do they grow? Thanks

Actually "Lucky Bamboo" is a Dracaena species no longer a bamboo - it simply have stems that seem like a bamboo - they may be able to be rooted in water - I have obvious them bought in puppy retail outlets for aquatic vegetation or in box stuffed with pebbles handiest after which upload water.

Lucky bamboo is a draceana, treat it as such-meaning what the houseplant books tell you about the species. If you cut the top off the plant and put it in water it will grow roots, and the stump from the other plant will produce new leaves, Cutting just a leaf off the plant will give you nothing.

actually "fortunate Bamboo" is a Dracaena species no longer a bamboo - it merely have stems that look like a bamboo - they are in a position to be rooted in water - I even have seen them offered in puppy shops for aquatic plant life or in field crammed with pebbles purely and then upload water.
