You need to come up with drinking games. Also....make sure that you have strippers. No house warming is complete without some trashy escort going down on a soda bottle in front of the whole family. The last thing you might want to remember is that the neigbor closest to the fire hydrant should pick up the tab. Just drop all the bills from the party on his or her doorstep with a little note thanking them....with pictures of the stripper on your lap. They will know that they are responsible for the bill and will pay out without even questioning you! Have fun! Oh, by the way...the best gift to give someone having a house warming is always a harness for pulling a donkey. This item will come in handy thousands of times while they own the home!

Aren't housewarming parties thrown by the one who bought the house at their place so they can show it off? That's how ones I've been to were. Usually the guests bring a bunch of munchies and a gift. The last one I went to was for a coworker and the people I worked with chipped in money that was put onto a gift card for Canadian Tire (that's what the person wanted after her divorce...tools and stuff). I've never played games at a housewarming party. They just play music and everyone mingles and has a good time.
