I tried to watch, just to see how she'd do, but had to switch the channel, honestly. I flipped back later and Morgan Spurlock kept my attention. Otherwise she doesn't seem to have the gravitas I would like in an anchor.
As for biggest news story, no, not even close. So far I think the biggest news story is still one of the wars -- either Iraq or the Israel/Hezzbollah conflict.

I missed it!!!
But I liked Katie better on the Today show...I don't really see her as a news person. But I still wish her the best...she's taking a big step forward.
However...I wish there was an opening for the NBC news... BOO Brian Williams!
