Some are...like Ashley Judd and Cahrlize Theron (when she fakes a southern accent). Others like Brtiney and Jessica Simson are annoying.
I guess it's the difference between Southern and White Trash.

No not at all, I live in the South, but orginally my family is from NYC, I don't think southern accents are sexy at all...well with the exception of Matthew McConaughey

as long as they are not stereotypical, as they have a tendency to be in Hollywood. a southern drawl is extremely sexy!
