Wondering if anyone heard from friends/ or you may have worked in hotel line. Do staff get FOC meals during shift? Heard some restaurants sometimes give the staff food to take home because they sell only freshly made stuff for good reputation. Please feel free to share infor. about job benefits... curious to know about hotel situation in Spre. Thanks!

yes,
big chain hotels offer free food to the staff to eat but not to take home. The staff can eat in the staff cafeteria. Although some hotel deducts 2 dollars from your pay check and some only deducts only gst on 2 dollars. All depends on where u work. However if u work in the restaurant or banquets u get free food to eat. I work with the Sutton Place and they deduct only on GST on food.
