I am no Republican, but based on fact, we are at war. We are not at war with any particular country as usual, but we are at war with terrorism. Regardless, we are still spending the same amount of money and effort towards it.

I saw his speech today and saw the headline a few minutes ago and scoffed. The speech was not a "reminder" that we are at war. It was a call to rally support and outline who exactly the enemy is and how we can defeat them. I am glad he finally has begun hammering on radical Islam. Sure we are there to protect our interests. Our main interest is LIVING. These folks want to kill you. They say so. Often. They want to establish a Caliphate in the region (and later the world) that is ruled by Sharia law (Islamic Law). They want us to live by their literal interpretation of the Koran or nothing.

The war in Iraq is central to this fight. If we can establish a democracy in that rough neighborhood, then this will allow the moderate voices in the Middle East to have a platform to speak. It will marginalize the radical elements that have nothing to offer but more violence. This ally could change the direction of the entire region. We really have no other choice here.

Bush is a tit, a right one at that.

You are totally right in your opinion.

A nation can only declare war on another nation.

Bush's aggressive foothold in the middle east by way of his seed state of Israel will assure his country's continuing ambition of world domination.

That very first day he was fraudulently announced the winner of the US Elections, I turned to my husband and said, "He will take us into a third world war." Even I didn't realise how true it would be.

I propose you will change your attitude when the terrorists mount their attacks here at home... You may think what you want but, it does not change the reality of you being an infidel and are on the "kill list" for muslims. This war is being fought on a world wide scale presently and you choose to ignore it... you will have to wake up to reality eventually.
