I have an awesome job that I am so thankful for. I would give at least 2 weeks notice, or at least until they hired someone else. I love it so much I would probably volunteer there 1 or 2 days a month. ( It is a non for profit org)

***If you won the lottery, how would you quit your job? Would you just walk out, work your notice or make some grand gesture?****
Ahahaha
Good one.
Well i like my Job so no problem with that.
I'd stay around and make every ones life absolutely miserable or until they payed me more money to leave. I would setup buffet breakfast, and lunch for all until i left though.

I would quit immediately. I know a gal who won about 15 million on the PA lottery. She was advised by her lawyer to quit her job immediately, people being sue happy as they are these days. I would leave a chunk of dough to the hospital where I work. That would be my grand gesture! Alas, I will never have to worry about it.

See ya! Actually, I work for my parents' architectural firm, so I'd better not get them too riled up. Myhusband would be the one who would be funny to see, though--he's a lab tech for the Indiana State Department of Health, and he's the only person who works full time in their receiving lab--he gets all the specimens to be tested for diseases all over the state. He feels unappreciated anyway, and he can be very creative. If we won an especially big jackpot, I could see him handing out $1 million apiece to other lab techs if they would all quit at once.

Well, I don't think that I would quit my job. The lottery is only so much money and before you knew it, it would all be gone and you would be unemployed. I think that I would buy a couple of things that before the lottery I never would have been able to afford and then save the rest for later and maybe retire early.... but idk.

i would give six weeks notice and train someone to take my place. My company has put food on my table and a roof over my head for almost ten years. The least I could do is stick around for six weeks til the check clears.

it depends on what kind of job i'd have at the time and whether or not i liked working there.
i would never just walk out though, that's incredibly rude. it doesn't matter how much money someone has, manners are still important.

I would give my notice shortly after confirmation that my ticket wins. I have several weeks of vacation coming, which is small potatoes for sure, but I'm only buying the tickets because they aren't paying me enough. This way I get every nickel out of them that I can.

Take off my uniform in the office, throw it on the boss' desk, and walk out in a speedo.
