Imagine how your dad would feel if he found out you'd kept this to yourself until the pain did become unbearable. Your dad's your caregiver, naturally that means he's going to be a bit frustrated sometimes, but he loves you. Show him your wrist and ask what he'd do in your position - he'll agree you should go to hospital, which you should.

If you've already had it checked out, and they said you would be fine, then chances are that you will be. But about this "in and out of the ER", is it really necessary most of the time? How about talking to a family physician who's willing to work w/ you over the phone if there are no open appointments or something like that. I'm sure that you could take your wrist to the clinic and they can probably give you some idea of why its hurting. I hope this helps.

I'm going to assume that if your 27 and still have a "caregiver" than you must have a serious health issue. If you are in that much pain that you think you may pass out go to the hospital.

well the scared and dizzy is anxiety related...and you have to try and stay calm and take deep breadths...how bad did you hurt it? can you bend and move you fingers, is there numbness? is it swollen or discolored? hopefuly chances are you just bruised it...put some ice on it..use and ace bandage to keep it wrapped and monitor it, if it doesn't show inprovment then in a week, then get it checked out ( that is only of course if your sure it is not broken

If you hurt yourself, tell him. It is childish and immature to be afraid of someone because of an accidental injury. Just tell him and have the wrist seen to.

Tell your dad you need to go in, he should understand. Don't compromise your health.
Good Luck ;)
