I think Dilana is the best singer on rockstar, yet I don't think the guys will vote for her?

I think the band would prefer a guy lead singer... so who will win it?

Part of the reason Dilana may not win indeed has to do with her being a female. After all, the members of Supernova came from bands that were known for their macho posturing, and a strong physical presence in a front band is crucial to bands like Supernova that rely heavily on that masculine raunchy aura.

However, her merely being a girl isn’t the only factor that might preclude her from being a likely candidate to front Supernova. It is the fact that she embodies all the negative characteristics that are normally associated with a female’s undesirable traits that will ultimately disqualify her from being the finalist in the show. She is backstabbing, opportunistic, gossipy, and shows no emotional strength when criticized. Even a guy who displayed these shortcomings would have a hard time winning favor from a band, even if he was a stellar singer, and had exceptional stage presence.

Secondly, she does not have the inclination to write music, nor is she very good at it as demonstrated by this week’s web episode, and a web episode recorded earlier in the season. Words like “tacky” or “not memorable” all came from Supernova’s mouth when trying to describe Dilana’s foray into songwriting. She even admitted on this week’s web episode that she didn’t even think she would have to song write, stating that she is not a song writer but a singer. Earth to Dilana…song writing is an essential part of being in a band. If you merely want to sing music, other people have written, go back to your hometown club and do covers of famous tunes for the rest of your life.

Since Ryan Star was my favorite contender, and since he was eliminated, I think it should come down to either Toby or Magni.

golly...reality tv is so hard to fiqure out. I am not sure if it matters if it is a woman or a man. I think it has more to do with ratings. Dilana has been the main focus on the show, whether it be good stuff or bad stuff...but you know the old saying "any press is good press".
I thought they were getting Ryan ready for the lead position BUT for some insane nutty reason the producers picked talentless Storm over Ryan. I can only imagine it was so they has 2 men and 2 women in the final 2 shows.
I really think that Dilana will win......I am not sure what i think of that b/c i do not think i like her too much but really how well do we know our favorite rockers. I am sure there are more jerks than nice guys. It is about the music not the personality.

If Dilana does not win on Rockstar, then not only will I NEVER watch another season of that show EVER...I will also NEVER buy a single cd or other product produced by the LOSERS in SUPERNOVA. If they are too stupid to realize what a gem Dilana is for their band, then I HOPE THEIR BAND BLOWS IT SO BADLY THAT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE GUYS IS LAUGHED OUT OF THE MUSIC INDUSTRY!!! Whether Dilana is with Supernova or not, I WILL buy her cd's, whether she is solo or in a band.

Ugh, Lukas also has the power of fangirls behind him- he'll make it to the end even though he doesn't deserve to.

I think Dilana has a pretty good chance, actually. And I'd much rather see her win it over most of the guys.

I agree. And I am a girl but I just dont think a girl will be tough enough to front a rock band but then again supernova doesnt sound that hard. Anywho, I want Magni to win. Lukas annoys me because he thinks he knows he is going to win.

I think the show is trying to FORCE her to loose. I LOVE her but it seems like Gilby and the show are trying to sabotage her chances. No matter what happens i think she's great and i will follow her career!
