Japanese-Americans and Arab-Americans are protesting the views of U.S. Rep. Howard Coble from North Carolina.

He advocated for the internment of Japanese and Arab Americans.

Why are republitards so racist? Is it coz they're all white nazis?

Representative Coble's statements supporting Japanese-American internment, a program that is now viewed as one of the largest blemishes in United States history, indicates that he believes the act itself can be justified given the right context. Statements that try to legitimize the idea of the wholesale imprisonment of American citizens, past or present, perpetuate the unfortunate belief that civil rights can justifiably be infringed upon without proof of wrongdoing. We must prevent these beliefs from becoming even more widespread. We ask that you please join us in publicly condemning these statements, in calling for his resignation from his subcommittee chairmanship, and in fighting to ensure that American civil rights and liberties are not forsaken by legislation aligned with the views of Rep. Coble.

Yep, he's just another typical republican who wants people to fear and hate each other. This is the way the Republican party thinks it will continue it's rule over the American people.

You didn't provide a link but the instance you're talking about was in 2003, he explained that then. Since then he has already run one and won, made all the easier that the Dems didn't even run a candidate against him. The year Rory Blake is running against him, a bland rich businessman.

The crazy thing is the DNC is backing Blake with money and banking on him winning, they've put that district in the WIN column. They are taking on a 22 year well loved representative with a virtual unknown and assuming its a win. If they are making assumptions based on such overwhelming odds all over the country, November might not be a happy time for the Democrats.

Hmm...is that why Democrats were pro-slavery back during the civil war? Anyone can be racist whether they are a Republican or not.
