And the only recent show that you could get hold of was Stargate: Atlantis. Since it is filmed in Canada they were showing it on the The Movie Network ahead of SciFi channel's air date last year.
But those eps leaked onto the Internet too much and they stopped that this year.

Hey GENIOUS.....they film shows sometimes the week before they air them! How and why would they put them on the internet or TV and ruin the whole point of making money and getting ratings when they actually air????

It depends on the show. If it is an American show then nope, unless it is going to be a rerun. You can find shows after they air for the first time on torrent websites, but be careful what you downlaod because almost everything on them is illegal.
