Ya shoulda traded yer cow fer a handfull of beans mate, then at least ya coulda made this a more plausible and enjoyable fairy tale...Sigh.
The fact that ya live in an apartment as opposed to a chicken coop, might be to yer advantage, but ya gave up a food source, which in the end might be far more important.
I say go back and find the giant. Offer him his beans back, ask if he cooked the chickens and has any leftovers,,, preferably with stuffing, green beans, and mashed taters, then find yer way back to the chicken coop and get busy another level of life.

ARE YOU CRAZY? i think that was a bad trade. unless you didn't have any food and that's what you wanted the chickens for but i doubt that's the reason so no bad choice!!!!!
