I felt angry! Why, oh why?

He was such a great, enthusiastic, loving, daring, intelligent & brave person.
His thoughts on nature & environment inspired many. Sometimes it seemed like he was doing more for the planet than some much bigger organisations. That was really something to look up to.

I can just imagine some couch-potatoes and fear-minded cowards saying "well, he got what he deserved", and than going back to their pathetic lives feeling soo good & cozy in their own pasive, weak and senseless filth. Ah, what news it was for the inactive and the cynical... Well, I say, to hell with them! The man really made a difference- on a global level, but even if that wasn't the case, he really really enjoyed himself and was truly happy.
And that's what counts.

Some people have passion. Some people lack passion.
While the second waste their time hating the first, the first have no time to hate at all- they're too busy feeling love.

He will really be missed...

HE was a cool guy. Messed with nature- never respected the fact that as a nature lover you should just observe what is happening, and don't pissoff the animals you are studying. But he did alot of work for his local ecological preservation, and began to work around the world to better the living species. Hats off to ya, Irwin- ya weird man, ya!!!

I concur. i was saddened (as well as a little creeped out ) when i heard of his death. He truly was a selfless animal activist - in spite of what people may think

sure, he did some stupid things, but we all do. he also taught the world a lot about conservation. I think it is a big loss for this world.

I feel horrible for the man's family. He certainly was entertaining and I really believe that he was trying to do something positive. But I must say that he took a lot of unnecessary chances. My condolences go out to his family and friends.
