My best friend just told me he's bi...it's so weird cause I REALLY LIKED HIM...WHAT SHOULD I DO??? I mean, can I talk about hott guys with him like I do my girlfriends and other gay guy friends or is that topic still off limits since he also likes girls...this is so hard...it would be sooo much easier if he were just gay!!! Help me...this is never anything I've had to deal with. I have nothing against gay or bi people...I have lots of friends who are gay and bi its just I don't know how to react 'cause he's always been straight since I've known him...I even had my first kiss with him!!!!

Often when guys come out they say they are "bi" at first to try and save some face. If an older guy told you he was bi I would be more inclined to believe him, but with a younger guy I always have a wait and see attitude.

Treat him like you always do. Think twice about getting in a physical relationship with him. If you do this, you must be prepared to accept the fact that he will want a guy on the side too. If you can live with that, then fine.

Have a conversation with him. Establish what you expect from each other.

If all he wants from you is friendship, I would just treat him like you would a cousin or a sibling. Hang out, cuddle, go to movies, talk about what ever it is you normally talk about.

Try treating him like a HUMAN BEING!! If you've known him for a long time then treat him the same way you've always treated him. He didn't become Bi overnight.

nothing should be hard when it comes to good friends...he was open and honest and i'd rather have that than someone who would stab me in the back...as for the rest..take it one day at a time...things will fall into place if its meant to be.

He is your best friend. Just ask him this question as you have here or go online and let him read it. After all if you can't talk to your best friend then just who do you talk to.

Instead of asking us, you should be asking HIM...personally.
He's bi, ok...but that doesn't mean that you have to change with him.

(by the way, he really showed you he is your friend...he told you he his bisexual, and that's really personal)
