isnt ther like ways that people along time ago use to know when they were pregnant ,..like tieing string around a dime and which ever way the dime went agianst or towards the belly , told wether they were expecting arnt there sttill things like that ??? or am i just being stupid. lol

The swinging dime trick is apparently supposed to tell the baby's sex and not whether you are pregnant. I have only heard of this thing done with a wedding ring tied to string in England. Allegedly if it swings in a straight line over your pregnant tum its a boy and if swings in circles its a girl!!

well i dont think tieing a string around a dime and which way is swings tell you your pregnat i think they knew by missed periods back then i dont think they had pregnacy tests like we do now also some women just know when they are pregnat they have a sense of it the way there bodies feel and all that but missed period is the most accurate way i think they knew back then

I think the thing with tying something in a string and seeing what happened was supposed to "tell" the sex of baby, not if one is pregnant.

Look down and if you see a big bump thats normally a good way to tell.

Their first clue was a missed period. That usually tells all.
