You cannot prevent someone from sending you e-mails. You can't even prevent e-mail server at yahoo from recieving it.

What you can do is, have your e-mail client to deliver such e-mails to junk folder.

If you OWN the e-mail server, you can do this (to have e-mail server not even accept e-mail), so that offending e-mail automatically gets rejected. But such is not the case here. You are merely a client in YAHOO's e-mail system.

If you click on options in the upper right hand corner then you can filter them to the bulk folder. It'll take some fiddling but it'll work. Or you could tell them to stop sending you emails or you could change your address and not tell them.
