Straight-up panty hose like you buy at the supermarket or drug store are out.
Tights are in. For a very sexy look, try a miniskirt in black with textured black tights and black knee-high or calf-length boots.
If you absolutely have to wear hose for work, make sure they are NOT shiny and match your skin tone so that they don't stand out at all.
