I can't advise you on whether to buy it unless you tell me the specs and the price. At least give us a brand name and model number.

You will NEVER find a decent functional laptop for $50, nor will you find a laptop with an AMD processor that runs 2.4 Ghz so I'd ignore that guy completely. He has no idea what he's talking about.

I generally recommend against buying used computers. You don't know what the last guy may have done to it or how long it will last. Laptops are extremely expensive to service so if something goes wrong you may be screwed.

I'd say you should avoid any laptop with a Celeron processor, less than 256 MB of RAM, and anything with physical damage to it. If the outside is damaged, odds are there is damage to the inside as well.

If it's stolen, you won't get in trouble even if they happen to find it. You didn't know. Being a laptop and being sold for cheap you should make sure it has a pentium or AMD processor that runs at least 2.4 GHZ, otherwise I'd refuse the offer unless it's going for $50 or less

in the event that they quoted you a cost to pay for the lap-precise, and you have been then chuffed to pay the cost that became quoted, then a settlement has been formed. the actuality that they have nnow realised they have executed a mistake, isn't your fault. in case you have a receipt as prrof of purchase, then you definitely are legally allowed to maintain the lap-precise. merely as a warning, in case you have paid by credit or debit card, then merely shop an eye fixed on your statements that they have not tried to recover from now on money out of your account.

If its more than a year old is prolly totally obsolete and laptops are harder to upgrade for like gaming etc than desktops.
