just make up a new id and use the same password.

You can have alias names under your main ID. You can have 6 aliases if you want under one main ID, this means ya keep the same password but just use an alias name. Or you can make a new ID with the same password not a problem.

You can open a new Yahoo ID to work with your old ID,
Options - Mail addresses - below Extra Mail Address click Get started...
Otherwise you might have to open a new yahoo account with the same password...
