Very roughly midcycle. Most women ovulate 12-16 days before their period and sperm can live in your reproductive tract up to 5 days if fertile conditions are present. That gives a window of fertility that may potentially extend as far back as 21 days before your period. The egg has a short life span of only 12-24 hours, so you're likely no longer fertile by about 10 days before your period. Of course, since ovulation determines when your period come, you could ovulate late due to stress, illness or whatnot and never know it until your period was late.

If you're trying not to get pregnant, use birth control every time. If you're trying to get pregnant, I highly recommend "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler for information on how to determine when you are actually ovulating.

OK

Firstly everyone will have "my sister got preg on the pill" / "I got preg two days after coming off the pill blah blah" stories but ignore them - these are the hard FACTS:

When you've just come off the pill its difficult to tell when youare going to get pregnant because your cycle can take a few months to return to normal.

Basically you need to read up on female biology!

You can ONLY get pregnant at the time you ovulate - release an egg from your ovaries. Whilst you are on the pill you are not ovulating and it can take a few months for the hormones to clear out of your system and for you to start ovulating again - although some women can get back to normal almost immediately. Some take longer.

You ovulate roughly halfway through your cycle but it is fallacy to beleive that every woman ovulates on day 14 of her cycle - or that every woman has 28 day cycles (A cycle is the length of time from the start of one period to the next).

If you can get hold of a book called "Taking Charge of your Fertility" by Toni Wechsler is explains all you need to know about your cycle, how to determine when you are ovulating through taking your basal body temperature every day and observing your body signs. You can also use ovulation pedictor kits which are like a pregnancy test kit but they show you when you are about to ovulate. They are expensive though and not always accurate as you only get about 5 in a pack and you have to know roughly when to start testing.

You won't get pregnant until your body has cleared the pill hormones out and you start ovulating again. Although its impossible to say when this will be. A 3 day period is likely just to be a withdrawal bleed from coming off the pill and you may get another "true" period in the next few weeks. Take that as day 1 of your cycle and start charting from then.

Good luck!

14 days after your period an ovary gets released but that again depends on the the way your period cycle work. have a very hot bath before trying once the sp.., is in put your legs high on the wall and stay like that for 20 mins - you must not wee straight after sex- also eat plenty of kiwis before increases the chance to release ovaries

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner. Get more useful information and guides to get pregnant herehttps://tr.im/C29HY
after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.
