It would depend on where I was going. If it were a cross country or cross ocean trip, then probably not. At least, not without talking to someone from security and insisting they were searched.

Stereotyping to the extreme, I know, but I'd prefer to be politically incorrect and alive than politically correct and dead, especially if I was travelling with my children.

If the majority of recent terror threats came from blonde haired, blue eyed caucasion girls, and I was whispering to others who looked like me and praying, I would expect the same treatment from suspicious passangers. Stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason.

I'm not going to lie, i would be scared. i know it's wrong to label people but i live in NYC and i tend to be a little more suspicious with stuff like that. i think if i was boarding a plane with Arabs whispering and praying i'm sad to say i would start praying too that i make it back to the ground okay. sorry if i sound harsh. :-(

~Everyone onboard an airplane looks suspicious. And why not:? After you have gone through the strange ritual of taking off your shoes, surrendering all your private papers and the contents of your in-flight bag, you are bound to be a little nervous - or, possibly, look suspicious. And I really haven't yet learned to tell an Arab from anyone else unless I talk to them. And once I am finally on an airplane, God Himself is going to have a hard time convincing me to get off it. And whisper? No one could hear a whisper. Any surreptitious plans would be lost due to miscommunication.

As for praying, I do a lot of that myself. Last time I checked, I am still part Caucasian and part Choctaw.

Well, you already said they were "suspicious". If they were indeed "suspicious" then no I wouldn't...

But what makes them suspicious?

If I saw a group of Arabs, and they were whispering and/or praying, that would not be enough to constitute "suspicious".

I have; I fly into London a lot and there's a big Middle Eastern population there. It's not good to stereotype these things; terrorists who are Muslim could be African or British. If they're praying, who cares, terrorism is not Islam-the word "Islam" is derived from the Arabic word "peace."

Yes, but I would go up to the arabs and tell them I am watching them and then I would watch them the entire time on the flight. This actually happened to me when I flew to California last year. Two sweaty arab guys were sitting right behind me, so I talked to the guy sitting next to me and we kept a very close eye on them. Turned out they were not terrorists, but better safe than dead is what I always say.

of course the arab would (the 1st girl to answer) she was raised to die, (a du hu do R 2 D2)

I would if I was an american or what ever just would make sure to give them a sleepy cocktail via the flight attendant, or make sure there were a couple other BMF's on the plane with me.

We have every right to sterotype/ and every right to say that we are not
