That's not bossy you want; you want assertiveness training classes. You need to learn to be more assertive.
Authority is the ability to inspire trust in others, so that they trust what you say and listen. It enables them to follow instructions you give. If you have no authority with people they won't follow advice or instructions.
It has nothing to do with being bossy - that's just telling people what to do. Authoritative people know when to listen and learn. You can have 2 authoritative or assertive people working on the same project as a co-operative team - but not 2 bossy ones!

U feel abuse right?......I know the solution to your problem.....just don't give an F anymore about what people think of you. Im not saying to stop dressing nicely and stop taking showers....I'm saying to BE a person. Not just any person, but A SOMEBODY. If you are not somebody right now, think of how you can be a somebody, and you will be in time sooner than you think. Your friends will start to respect you more because you will have created a VALUE for yourself, and they will think of you as a person who now has some kind of high social status. OK
Good Luck and you can do it.

you need to just do it when you know that thay know that ther taking advantage of you tell them to stop. and you need to be a good role model the more thay see you do and the more you do the more you can tell them what to do but ther are limits. like pay and attitude. and dont be a bossy bully you will lose respect. you need to prove you have a right to be athortive. and be good at it. not do as i say because i said so. its about leadership how to leed and be lead.

When you talk to people look them straight in the eyes, lower your voice, add some depth and then when you want to say no, say it that way they will listen and not ask again. Never say owell to anyone but yourself. Walk straight and keep your shoulders back head held high even when your sad. Cry alone, cuss alone, and don't make empty threats. If you say it do it.

Stand up more, especially if you want to be authoritive on the telephone, you immediately act as if you're more in control when standing.
Don't back down, stand your ground.

Decide on your boundaries and stick to them!!! If you let people challenge your boundaries as regards to what you are prepared to do, even a small bit you can't go back. So when you meet people decide straight away what the limits are and don't be flexible. Flexible is weak and will be exploited as you have discovered!

You have to project confidence. Be a listener that is comfortable with quiet moments in the conversation. Try pausing and you will be amazed how may people keep rambling on to fill the "dead air".

You need to gain confidence in yourself and your decisions and realize there is a time to be nice and a time to be straight to the point. Also not everybody will like you and you need to accept that and realize thats okay.

Tell people what YOU want. If you have helped them so many times, I'm sure they'll care about how you feel. If not, than just dump them. your a person with feelings, not a doormat.

you have to take charge sometimes to establish authority -- show them that you can handle something they can't. also you should be professional... do not be too bossy -- you should still treat your co-workers nicely, but be respected... you have to appear that you can be nice, but you won't tolerate bad behaviors.
