I'm feeling kind of down today. My boyfriend of four years and I broke up a few months ago, and I really just assumed he was going to be the one I spent the rest of my life with, until the world came falling down around my ears. I'm getting better, but I still have bad days, like today, where I feel like I'm NEVER going to find "the one." A relationship isn't the only key to being happy, but it IS one of them, and it's hard to get used to not having him around.

So cheer me up. Tell me about how happy you are in YOUR relationship or marriage. I like to read about people who have actually worked out together, when so many relationships are falling apart. Inspire me.:)

I'm sorry to hear about your relationship, perhaps it wasn't meant to be. Me and my Husband have been together for 4 years and together we have 2 sons but one passed away. However, I feel that our relationship and love is very strong and has been tested quite a few times over. He's my world, my life, my lover, my everything, my strength and my weakness, my inspiration, my guide, my smiles and my tears, my source of a better tomorrow, my sunshine and my sunrise, my god and most of all my- best friend. We have been through so much together, the good times and the bad but each day I begin to love him more and more. I thank god for him. And, I wish you the same one day. Best wishes.

Every man will have a different opinion on this as well as women. Yeah,, YOUR husband may be happy because your marriage is most likely a good marriage and anybody who is in a good relationship will have a positive outlook on relationships in general. BUT people who are in bad relationships or who have been in a series of bad relationships will have a more negative outlook on them in general and will probably advise others against it. And then you have those who are just happy being single and not being tied down or having to answer to one person as well as you have those who love being in relationships. This all is a personal issue with different individuals.

baby girl, if i were to tell you how good my marriage is, it would only make you feel envious; which will leads to self-doubt and the insignificant feeling will set. for now, what about do things for yourself, do things that you would like to do. something as simple as a hair cut or day spa will cheer you up. you need to keep your mind busy on something else and don't stay home and not doing anything. keep busy, it would heal faster.
