How long have you been with him? It starts off as lust. I don't care what anyone thinks...there is no such thing as love at first sight, just lust. After you have been together for a while it can develope into love. Lust fades. Stay with him and if the feelings continue to grow stronger and you continue to feel the same way, it may be love.
Not to sound harsh, but I would recommend getting to know him and deciding if there is a strong possibility that this will last before he becomes a big part in your children's life. You don't want your kids to get really attached and for things to end. It's just confussing as a kid when there are lots of "daddy" like people and they keep changing.

The first 30-45 days of a relationship are "infatuation".
It is basically designed to make you "head over heels" for the other person until true love can kick in if you are actually compatable.
The problem is that a lot of people love that butterfly feeling in their stomach more than they like the person... Then after about a month and a half "he isn't like he used to be"... and they break up.
True love is based on friendship first. If you develop an emotional intimacy first you will actually know if this is someone who could be your partner in life.
Huge mistake = have sex too early.
Because: it replaces emotional intimacy with physical intimacy and freezes the relationship's mental growth. So you guys might touch all the time, but you have to keep uping the ante to keep it "hot" until you don't feel like a lady any more, and he doesn't think of you as one.
Food for thought.
Good Luck.

I hope that you know him well enough before you let him around your children. I live in Florida and time and time again I read about these women that let these strangers around their children and the children are molested and killed. I dont care about the luv or lust part of this question because as a single mother i see nothing but RED FLAGS.

My personal opinion is it starts out with lust and it grows into love the more you know the person and choose to stay with them and have commitment.
