It can take several weeks. For future reference don't send it priority. It makes it first on the plane but the last off so defeats the purpose (a friend who worked at a base post office let me know this) Also don't get it insured b/c it is only insured until it leaves the US and not afterwards.

Priority mail will get it to the APO address in 2-3 days, but after that its in the hands of the military to get it there. Probably a couple weeks.

I deliver my husband a kit a week to Iraq and it rather is taking around 6 days to get to him each and every time. in case you place a signature receipt on it, it is going to postpone the kit through fact your receipent will might desire to request accountability time without work to bypass and sign for the kit. The placed up workplace informed me that all of it is going Airmail interior of three days even though it takes the protection stress time to distribute based on the area. I sent a kit on the twenty third and he have been given it final Friday so the trip time slowed down some transport.

I don't think it will take long. I assume you are sending it to a servicemember. If that's the case, then you probably mailed it to an AE address. They'll get it there pretty quick as you sent it Priority, but then it's up to the military to get it to the person.

Plan on 3-6 weeks due to the military's mail processing duties - they want to make sure that the mail remains safe without interfering in the theater of operations.

Look at your receipt and see what kind of mail service you paid for, Global express, airmail, etc... then go to the U.S. Postal wesite. www.usps.com, click on "calculate postage" then choose international. You should be able to get an idea of how soon your package will get there depending on what sort of delivery you paid for.
