VERY CAREFULLY we are like ticking time bombs.....saying something like...."honey are you finished eating?" is interpreted as "Honey your a fat pig, finish eating!" It's the hormones talking......and if it's not hormones we will say it is. Why? cause we can pull this 8 lbs screaming baby from our bodies and you can't! Not that you would want to! but on a serious note, It really is hormones and if you think it's bad for you imagine how bad it is for her! I'm sure you will do a great job of comforting her and will be a great father, good luck

What? Wait a minute. The women are the ones who are supposed to get hormonal? I am pregnant and my husband is more irritable than I am, and he also has the increased sex drive, the food cravings, as opposed to me who has lost all of her sex drive, and my appetite has almost vanished completely. For a little while there I thought it was him who was pregnant. What a eye opener!! :)

The smartest thing a man ever said was "Yes dear".

Seriously though, just be understanding of her and what her body is going through. My poor husband has gone through the same thing here lately so like me, she'll probably feel guilty later and do some major making it up.

I have 6 children, and when the boss gives you this kind of gift of herself....Gentlemen, you had best be grateful!!!!!!
She deserves your love , adoration, and complete willingness to swallow your pride, humble yourself, and be her servant, while she does something for you that you can't....ever...thank ...HER ..enough for....!!!!

My children range in age from 20 to 2 1/2......3 boy 3 girls....
There is nothing this life can offer that compares with these GIFTS OF LOVE YOUR WIFE CAN GIVE..!!!!

I don't care how the **** he deals with it! He just better have dinner ready on time and be ready to rub my back and bring me tea at a moment's notice.

There's no "coping," just do it. If we have to put up with being pregnant and giving birth, they have to put up with our occasional hormones.

But seriously... :)

Give and do whatever she wants. Don't argue with her because it will only put stress on her and the baby. Try to come to a compromise (sp?) and try to be as understanding as possible.

with faith that the other side is a much kinder gentler woman.

also with compassion because he knows or should know that she is going through monumental and very important changes and the least he can do is be calm and supportive.

Give her whatever she wants at that moment. Do it quickly because what she wants will change. Ice cream works all the time though!!

Just try not to take it too personal. Men will never be able to understand, although I wish they could. Just be there for her.
