As redundant as this may sound it is called "fatty liver." The Merck index describes it as an excessive accumulation of a type of fat (triglyceride) inside the liver cells. Some possible causes are misuse of drugs including over the counter pain relievers, alcohol abuse, and can be associated with diabetes mellitus and obesity.
The built up fat can lead to scarring and cirrhosis

It's called fatty liver disease, something quite common in diabetics, that can also lead to heart disease. There is a product out there that is full of phytonutrients, flavenoids and polysaccharides in the form of a juice. This rapidly changes your blood from acidic to alkaline and contains betaine, which aids in fatty liver disease.

Not knowing your medical history and whether you are a drinker, your condition is one of two. NAFLD (Non alcoholic Liver Disease), or NASH (Non alcoholic Steatohepatitis). Check with your physician for more detailed information.
