They say when your stomach gets empty you get the nausea too. I did. I found that eating small snacks helps big time. Or even hard candy works too. Breakfeast is very important when you are pregnant so find something that you like and likes you that early in the morning and stick to it. Also crackers and stuff that maybe you can keep with you to eat in the car will help. And don't forget to drink, drink, drink. Drinking can help your stomach not get empty when you can't eat food. But you will find that if you eat small snacks between meals that you will not feel like a pig. I eat all the time and I am 17 weeks. But I am hungry all the time too and I still eat but just healthier things then I used to. I eat a lot of fruit and whole grains. Good Luck

This was totally me! Everyone has great ideas. Eating healthy things is the best to keep you going. I remember being so hungry all the time and would be sick if I didn't keep food in me. I ate a lot of wheat crackers. I am 15 weeks now and have to say that that kind of hunger went about at about 13 weeks. Now I have hunger like cravings that I can't shake, but not nearly as hungry as I was before. It will get better. Not sure what happens in the 3rd trimester though.

This is the one time in life when there is no such thing as glutony. Eat! No one will look at you funny. Your baby needs all of the nutrition you can give. When I went to work, I kept some Ritz Bitz in my cabinet as well as the peanut butter crackers and a bottle of water and jug of orange juice in our office fridge. Carbs..breads are excellent healthy source of curbing the hunger you get. I kept a carton of milk as well. That helps with the nausea you can feel. Usually the people you work with if they know your expecting will understand. I had food on my desk ALL day long.. straight through lunch. CoWorkers were bringing me donuts and muffins beacuse they wanted to make sure I stayed fed. You shouldn't feel like a pig because you eat so much...consider yourself a good mother instaed. FYI...I gained 53 lbs and have lost all of it but 11 lbs. in 3 months

i am 11 weeks and am in the same boat. I just eat whatever I crave (which has mostly been fruit, but not only fruit) because when you crave it, it is what your body is asking for and for me it acually helps with the nausea. I have been doing that for 6 weeks now and not gained a thing (except the original 3-4 pounds you are supposed to), so I wouldn't worry about it. Don't over eat. Just eat when your hungry and just until your full and dont worry about it.

I know how you feel, lol. I've tried to eat more protein such as fish and chicken, but nothing too greasy that might upset my already nauseous stomach. Also, I keep some good energy snacks like oranges, peaches and other fruits handy to have between meals. So far it seems to have helped. For breakfast though, I have had cravings for sausage and gravy biscuits, which are pretty filling but very fattening, lol.

Have snacks. You need to eat a bigger breakfast. More protein for lunch, and a few snacks between your 11-7 (that's a long time!). Try fruits, crackers, maybe even a side pasta, or a slice of cheese.

I am only about 6 weeks, but I'm ready for this stage when it comes! Definitely try very bland foods, white rice, bananas, oatmeal, and saltines. Also be sure to keep drinking water throughout the day as hydration makes you feel better all around! I have noticed this just in the last week that I've felt much better when I have drank water throughout the day and it helps to keep food down. I hope this helps and good luck!!!

STOP WORRYING ABOUT IT! You're pregnant! This is the only chance you get in life as a woman to eat what ever/ when ever! You should eat as often as your body tells you and indulge in what ever you crave as long as it isn't bad for baby.
AS far as not feeling like a pig... go to wall-mart and look at all the cows who don't have an excuse for eating all the time. If your husband says one darn thing about it tell him to kiss your you know what and go to you know where. chalk it up to hormones later!
Obviously, bringing raw veggies or crackers to work may help though the day. But bringing Godiva chocolates and ordering Chinese is much more fun.

Pack balanced snacks that have carbs and a bit of protein to have durring the day. The carbs will help settel your stomach if you are a bit queezy. The protein will stick to you for a longer time. Just remember to eat often and not skip a meal you need all the nurishment and energy you can get. Good luck and congradualtions.
