I've got 4 kids and 8 grand kids. It shouldn't be but about 10 years, give or take, before I have great grand kids. That's taking in to account finishing high school, going on missions and finishing college first. Yeah, I've got grand kids as old as most of you kids in this place. I'll never be a burden on any of them.

No. It is my goal to make enough money to never have to be a burden to them. Also, I want to leave them a sizable inheritance, so they don't have to spend much of their lives worrying about the everyday things, and they can concentrate on a life of being happy and being good to their fellow man.

their children

I think statisticly this happens to most people at one point or another or a few times toward the end. Its important that the children still like the parents at that point or they won't do much.

no, it's to see their grandchild. my parents are never a bother and they give me privacy.
it's nice to have a good relationship with your parents, but most of the time children take advantage of them.
Hope your situation is a positive one, good luck:)
