What can i do? I've tried talking to her loads of times, but she doesnt change, she does it to me and my other 2 friends too - shes just too bossy and she makes all the decisions....i'd like to make decisions a lot more, but i dont get to because the majority of my friends just go along with her because they are used to it.

What shall i do? Do i need to be a lot more serious instead of joky, i want to express the fact that i have authority too.

Hmmm..doesn't sound like much of a friend at all.
I'm going to go for a long shot and assume you are still in high school/middle school..how did I know this? This is petty friendship stuff, I am sorry to say--and don't take it as I'm trying to be rude, but I am trying to get you to see the bigger picture here: Life is too short to be worried about this kind of stuff....think of it this way...you are you--nobody should be able to change that. If someone does not like you for who you are--forget them because they are not worth your time. There is no point in changing for people because in the end you are only going to be hurting yourself and letting yourself down. Trust me because I have had many many friendship issues before.....and I used to feel the same as you, until I opened my eyes and saw the bigger picture.
Another point: You do not want to be friends with a hypocrite...its not a good thing--trust me, if someone doesn't practice what they preach then they are f**^$d up.

Get new friends...or forget her and be who you are, obviously you have many other friends who accept and love you...hang with them

And ps....she may just be jealous

Remember this: people treat you the way you allow them to treat you.

She is being pushy because she knows she can get away with it. Probably is part of her basic personality, and you three got stuck with her because you went along with her behaviour instead of saying something to put a stop to it.

Sometimes, it takes just a word of caution or even just a steady, cool, look, to put a person in his or her place.

Try it. I dont gaurantee that you will still have her as a friend. From what I know of such types, they thrive on being bossy, and will move onto some other sweet, 'lets-all-get-along' type of person if you stick to digging your heels in.

Good luck.

Sounds like your in the middle of a power struggle, does it really matter who's in charge? If it does, the only way out is to find some new friends unless you can get the rest of your group to go along with you and talk to your bossy friend.Good luck whatever you do.

If you've only brought this up in a joking manner, then she hasn't gotten the hint, and you need to be more blunt. The next time you have an idea that you think is better than hers, don't back down. State your opinion and be ready to back it up.

Secretly videotape her and show her how she is behaving. She might be pissed, but it should open up her eyes.
