How do you deal with the issues in your life? Do you turn to food? Talk to people who love you? Go shopping? Hurt ur self? What does everyone do to get thru lifes curve balls?

Just ride it out. It's like a bad acid trip - you know it's going to pass; just hold on and wait for it to end.
Some practical things include reading old books - those written about simpler times with happy themes and happy endings. Oddly enough, I enjoy Grace Livingston Hill books.
And take naps.

Well when i get to that point that you can't take it anymore, i go to the beach sit down for has long as i need and just think by my self. And try to come to a solution or just try to relax and figure out what steps i can take. Just keep in mind that there are people out there that are going to worse things then you. And that just like any other times that you got to that point, you over come it and what doesn't kill you will only make you stronger. Always tell your self like 2PAC said "YOU GOTTA KEEP YA HEAD UP"...

I have lost the larger part of my family. I have had a lot to deal
with on my own, but when life gets me down I just get back up
and keep going. I have a lot of interest that I have cultivated over
the years. They don't take the place of loved ones but it makes
you want to get up and go on.

You have to think about the good stuff in life. Your kids, parents, boyfriend/girlfriend. And when you think your life sucks, think about the people that have cancer and are dying, or the people fighting in the wars! That makes your problems alot smaller!
