Not everyone in the world is literate. Not everyone understands grammer well. I know I don't and I tolerate it. (caveat: I don't include people being vulgar or purposly being an idiot)
If you can't understand the question because of the spelling/grammer, then don't answer it. Or just say you don't understand it. Why demean people who ask a question and didn't spell well? It sounds like intellectual bullying to me.
The world has many people in it. Not everyone is on teh same level as you may be.
Mispelling is similiar to accents to me. I don't rant at people who don't speak grammitically perfect. I don't speak perfect either. I think attacking people who have spelling errors is hating. Stop hating and start tolerating. Or how about teaching. Show me the correct spelling.

ADD ON: People are still saying to use spell check. I did and "teh" and "grammer" still got through...I agree that it can eliminate unecessary (sp?) spelling.

Six? I understand communication as the exchange a flow if information and ideas between two or more people. Correct spelling does not necessarily mean there is no communication. Bad spelling can be from limited intelligence or laziness. I mispell words sometimes. I don't know how to spell all words in the "American" English Language" (Let's set that straight now. Americans call their language English when it is a modified form of it). But I do not believe I am being retarded.

People that poke fun of other people or have to degrade them or point out flaws are not happy people .. plain and simple. I.E. When the popular kids make fun of fat kids or smelly kids or a pimple on a kids face in high school... they are making fun because they are mad, angry or upset about something on themselves. And the best way to divert that attention away from themselves is to point out other flaws on other people.
Then again, some people are just mean.. and are not happy until everyone else is as miserable as they are.
But being mean is their right , just like being honest and blunt is my right... if everyone was the same, it would be no fun. However, to me, the mean ppl suck lol
As for that lady that said "RUDE".. talk about the pot calling the kettle black haha.
And as for the person talking about professional letters.. well that is totally different than a message board online. And if you get a letter from your boss with grammatical errors, i seriously doubt you go up and say "Hey, moron, what's up with the stupid letter you sent? did you graduate thrid grade or what?" - common sense people.
When someone on the message board was giving a mean question and misspelled the question, i wasn't even mean about it, although i did spell it right and then in brackets let them know the spelling - teaching is a good option.
and on this post , i choose not to do spell check or re-read this to check for grammar lol.

You are right, it is intellectual bullying. Especially when the answerer doesn't like the question and can't think of anything else.
But still, obvious misspellings that are not a typo (like teh) make the person look stupid. What is worse is when people write in slang or phonetically. You wonder if it is a joke or if they really write that way.
But we have to remember that people from all ages and walks of life come here to ask and answer and we should respect their points of view.
Thanks for the reminder.

Have you ever received a letter from management at your place of employment, to find out it is riddled with spelling mistakes and poor grammar? Not very heartening - especially when they get paid more than you! This is perhaps excusable in young children, or the small percentage of the populace who are mentally sub-normal, but these are school-leavers who cannot construct a proper sentence. Iliteracy is now on the rise, text messages and suchlike seem to be contributing to the retardation of the adult population. I will continue to point out how stupid it makes people seem as long as I see poorly constructed English masquerading as real and valid communication.

ok. this might nicely be a waste of my time, yet i will answer it besides. first of all, no you won't be able to "attack' Spells and Traps. you could, although, break them with different card consequences. enjoying cards like Mobius, the Frost Monarch or Heavy hurricane will do the trick precise. 2d, i'm not attempting to be impolite, yet please study the guideline e book for those products and not posting those questions approximately right here. Had you study the rulebook you may are transforming into your answer.

Simple: Good and consistent spelling makes the text easier to read. When you make your writing harder to read, hostility can be expected.
And then some people are just antisocial.
I study Linguistics in the university and if there is one thing i have learned there, it is this: People just hate it when someone is messing around with their language.

it makes people feel superior to make fun of others. many get in a hurry typing and make mistakes. big deal. some people are just naturally poor spellers. that is what spell check is for. it boils down to people getting their kicks from making fun of others.

There is a spell check on here. I realize not everyone is 'good' at spelling/grammar but a lot of it is just laziness.

I agree....and if you attack someone for not speaking English....you need to make very sure, you yourself are speaking it properly, spelling it correctly and using proper grammar and punctuation when you write it.

Misspelling.
"I don't speak perfectly, either."
I have issues with exceptionally misspelled posts because the "Check Spelling" function should eliminate such mistakes.
