I'm opposite I don't like to eat when I'm upset. I instead listen to music, chat on line, go out with friends, talk to my b/f and best friend. I try to keep busy work more at work. Do some long time chores i need to do. Stressercise (that's destressing w/exercise) Yea I beat the crap out of my body but it feels good afterwards. Anything to get my mind off of it.

Well it is those times we need to work harder at being positive instead of negative(which comes naturally).But like Jesus said,If that is done in the green-What will be done in the dry? Or in other words if you cry over little things,Then when something terrible happens(like your only child kidnapped,tortured and beheaded) What will be done?And I think we all know the world isn't becoming any friendlier at all.May God Bless You.

I read a book titled "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff, and it's All Small Stuff." I keep it handy and refer to it often. I practice it's lessons on a daily basis and my blood pressure has dropped from 190/120's to 120/95's.

first i eat...anything sweet or anything with carbs..basically any carbs
then i surround myself with friends and family to keep my mind off of it
then i start an exercising regiment
then i do a lil shopping once i've lost a couple pounds

when life gets me down....i turn to others. But not for help or advice or sympathy. Just to know there are others around helps
AND..i find that if i can help someone else while i'm hurting..it is healing in its own way. Its kinda theraputic.
Thats what I do....and...btw......quite often...... SMILES to you.
