Hide video cameras. Kids aren't smart enough to know. Do it when they are not in the house. Then when they accuse you show the judge the video tape, and send them down to juvey.

Depends on the word properly, I was brought up pre child rights and every day was battered black and blue by both parents. Is that what you are looking for. What England needs is to bring back national service for the idiots who ride round on the lawn mowers called bikes (all noise and no power) Discipline and a right to have a well trained job with the intnetion to get the streets back to being safe to walk about any time of day

Hassle in every form seems to be getting more of a problem, and we have wisdoms making it a part of the furniture - "still, it makes life interesting". That sort of ridiculousness.
The generation gap you refer to helps with the raising of idiots.
